Celebrating 60 Years of Kedren: Honoring Our Past, Empowering Our Future

This past weekend, we gathered to celebrate an incredible milestone — Kedren’s 60th Anniversary, where we recognized and appreciated the immense contributions our employees make. It was a truly special evening, filled with laughter, joy, and deep gratitude. As I looked around the room, I saw the faces of the people who have made Kedren what it is today — our devoted staff, dedicated providers, and committed leaders who show up every day for our patients and our community.

We celebrated our shared journey — from our founding during a time of great social change, to six decades of service, growth, and resilience in South Los Angeles. We honored our team members over dinner with awards, recognitions, and musical entertainment, but most importantly, with heartfelt appreciation for the work they do every single day.

As we reflected on our history, we also looked ahead — to the future of Kedren and the transformational impact of the upcoming Kedren Children’s Village. This first-of-its-kind campus will expand access to care and continue our legacy of healing, hope, and opportunity for generations to come.
