Reflections of Resilience: A Year of Care, Commitment, and Community

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what a remarkable year it has been for Kedren Health.

This year, we proudly celebrated 60 years of service — six decades of compassion, innovation, and unwavering commitment to the community we serve. It was a year of milestones and transformation. We broke new ground at the Kedren Children’s Village, a project that will redefine how we care for our youngest patients. We expanded our outreach programs to reach more families in need through our food bank and community engagement efforts and continued to deliver comprehensive care that spans the full spectrum of health — from behavioral health to primary care, and now with our new street medicine care team.

Equally significant were the renovations that enhanced both patient and staff experiences. We modernized our children’s inpatient unit to create a more therapeutic, calming environment tailored to the needs of young patients. Our auditorium was revitalized to host community events and staff training in a welcoming, state-of-the-art space. The gymnasium received upgrades to support wellness and recovery programs, while outdoor break areas were redesigned to provide safe, restorative spaces for patients and staff alike. To improve navigation and accessibility, we introduced new wayfinding signage throughout the campus, ensuring that every visitor feels guided and supported from the moment they arrive. These improvements reflect our commitment to creating spaces that promote healing, dignity, and connection.

But what stands out most to me is not just what we’ve built — it’s who we’ve built it with. Our staff show up each day with purpose and empathy. Our partners continue to believe in the power of community-driven health. And our patients, whose trust inspires everything we do.

As we enter this season of gratitude and renewal, I encourage all to take a moment to celebrate our shared impact — and to look forward to hope. The work we do at Kedren doesn’t pause for the holidays. It continues, with the same compassion that has guided us for six decades.

Thank you for your dedication, resilience, and your heart. Cheers to a new year filled with opportunity, connection, and continued care.

Warmly,
Gregory Polk
