CEO's Corner

Moving Forward to 2026

Dear Kedren Family,

As we begin a new year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of our Kedren community — our dedicated staff, trusted partners, supportive donors, and the families who rely on us every day. Your belief in our mission fuels our work, strengthens our purpose, and makes Kedren a place of healing and hope.

2025 was a year of meaningful progress.
Together, we expanded access to behavioral health services, strengthened our primary care offerings, deepened our community outreach, and continued building a path toward the future Kedren Children’s Village — a transformative project that will change the landscape of children’s mental health care in Los Angeles. These achievements were possible because of your commitment and compassion.

But more importantly, we stood alongside our community in times of joy, challenge, loss, and resilience. That is the true heart of Kedren.

As we move into 2026, our focus is clear:

1. Centering Dignity and Compassion in Every Encounter

We remain committed to meeting people where they are, honoring their stories, and delivering care without judgment — care rooted in humanity.

2. Expanding Behavioral & Primary Care for All

We will continue growing services that support the whole person, including mental health, preventive care, diabetes care, maternal health, and more.

3. Strengthening Our Workforce

We recognize that our staff is our greatest asset. In 2026, we will invest even more deeply in training, professional development, and workplace wellness initiatives.

4. Building a Better Future for Children & Families

Construction continues on Kedren Children’s Village, and each milestone brings us closer to offering an unparalleled continuum of care for youth and their families.

5. Deepening Trust Within Our Community

We remain committed to listening, learning, and partnering with the individuals and neighborhoods we serve.

As we enter this new year, I am filled with optimism. Not because challenges have disappeared — but because I see every day what we can accomplish when we work together with purpose.

On behalf of the entire Kedren leadership team,
I wish you a year of health, connection, and renewed strength.
Thank you for all you do to uplift our community.

With gratitude and hope,
Gregory Polk
